Welcome to Tanzania! Arrive at Kilimanjaro Airport, and your driver will meet you and transport you to Moshi, which is only a 35-minute drive away. You will spend the night there to relax.

After breakfast and briefing, drive to Lemosho Park Gate for our 7-day Lemosho route hike.
Then we’ll go hiking through the jungle, admiring Kilimanjaro’s stunning beauty. We’ll stop for lunch on the route to Mti Mkubwa (Big Tree) campground. We’ll have supper and stay the night.

After breakfast, we continue as the trail gradually steepens and enters the giant heather moorland zone. Our second day on the climb Kilimanjaro Lemosho route.
After crossing multiple streams, we trek over Shira Ridge, passing by Shira 1 Camp. Along the trip, we have stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro from the west. The route takes us to Shira 2 camp, where we will spend the night. This camp is situated on magnificent moorland meadows beside a tiny creek.
Dinner and repose await us here, surrounded by the mountain’s breathtaking backdrop. The day’s trip concludes with tranquil vistas and fresh mountain air, readying us for the next round of the experience.

From the Shira Plateau, we continue east along a ridge, past the intersection, and head for Kibo’s summit. As we proceed, our path shifts to the southeast, toward the “Shark’s Tooth” Lava Tower (elevation 4650 m/15,250 ft). Shortly after the tower, we arrive at the second intersection, which leads to the Arrow Glacier. We are currently heading down to the Barranco Camp.
Although you conclude the day at almost the same height as when you started, this day is critical for acclimatization and will help your body prepare for summit day. Arrive at the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, we leave Barranco and begin ascending the steep Barranco Wall. You’ll be rewarded with stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro’s snowy top and surrounding slopes. We then continue via steep slopes and hilly terrain toward Karanga Valley. The journey is challenging yet gorgeous, with expansive skies and steep terrain.
Finally, we arrive at our campground, where the crew will cook a delicious meal. After a long day of trekking, you may relax in your tent, enjoy the night, and prepare for your next adventure of climbing the Kilimanjaro Lemosho route.
Elevation: 13,250 ft to 15,331 ft Distance: 4 km | 2 miles Hiking Time: 3-4 hours Habitat: Alpine Desert.
Today, you will experience the sunrise at the camp with breakfast; thereafter, we depart the camp onward to Barafu Camp with our packed lunch. On our way, we will experience the scenic view of Kilimanjaro Mountain and arrive at the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.
Elevation: 15,331 ft to 19,345 ft Distance: 5 km | 3 miles Hiking Time: 5-6 hours Habitat: the Arctic.
After a brief, comfortable sleep, we awaken at midnight, around 0000 hours, have some food and tea, and get ready to trek to the summit. We climb slowly and steadily till we reach Africa’s highest peak.
Uhuru Peak to Mweka Camp Elevation: 19,341 ft to 10,065 ft – Distance: 12 km | 7 miles – Hiking Time: 4 hours – Habitat: Rain Forest.
After reaching the summit and celebrating for a while, we’ll descend for a nice lunch at camp. Then we’ll hike till we reach the campground, where we’ll eat and sleep well.

Today is our final day on our 7-day Lemosho route hike via the Climb Kilimanjaro Lemosho route. We’ll walk down till we get to the gate. We suggest using walking sticks and sturdy shoes to assist you on your route down.
When we reach the gate, you may pick up your certificates. Then we’ll meet the driver and head to the hotel for supper and sleep.
Today you will have time to explore Moshi, and later on, if you have time, be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight.
