Early in the morning, after breakfast, we will depart for Tarangire National Park.
The Tarangire vegetation is quite dense, including elephant grass, acacia woodlands, and lush groundwater forests. The park is well known for its elephant families, which can often be seen congregating by the river. You may also see other famous African animals such as giraffes, bushbucks, and hartebeests. A range of predators, including lions and leopards, closely follow these animals. The park offers a good view of birds as well.
After lunch and an extensive game drive, we will head for our luxury partner lodges near Tarangire for dinner and your overnight stay.
After breakfast, we will depart early in the morning for Lake Manyara National Park, an unspoiled paradise best known for its abundance of birds.
The dramatic western escarpment of the Rift Valley forms the park’s western border. To the east lies Lake Manyara, a shallow and alkaline lake. The lake covers a huge portion of the park, flooding and drying as the seasons change, and it is home to thousands of flamingos during the rains. The park’s vegetation varies from savannah to evergreen forest. While exploring the park, you may encounter giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffalo, elephants, and, if you’re lucky, lions resting in trees.
After lunch and an extensive game drive, we got to the Ngorongoro rim for dinner and an overnight stay.
After breakfast, we will descend 610 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater floor for a game drive. Renowned for its exceptional wildlife viewing opportunities, the crater boasts a permanent water supply that sustains a diverse array of ecosystems.
As we descend, we can anticipate encounters with numerous lions, zebras, wildebeests, elephants, gazelles, and over 500 bird species. The crater also offers one of the best chances to observe the endangered black rhino.
A packed lunch at a picnic site beside Hippo Lake. We will proceed to Serengeti National Park for dinner and an overnight stay.
