6 Days of Amazing Safari
We had a great tour with JM Tours. They are always willing to make your Safari the best it can be! Bashiri was the best guide and driver you could ask for! He kept the vehicle in good working order, and I still do not know how he spotted everything we saw. It was amazing!

Frequently Asked Questions

1. What are the best Tanzania safari tours available?

The top Tanzania safari wanders include visits to Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, Tarangire National Park, and Lake Manyara National Park. Each provides unique animal-watching opportunities and breathtaking scenery.

Consider your budget, vacation dates, and activities when selecting a package. Some packages feature wildlife safaris, while others may incorporate cultural events or exceptional lodgings. Consult us, and we can help you adapt the trip to your specific needs.

Tanzania is home to a diverse range of wildlife, including the “Big Five” (lions, leopards, elephants, buffalo, and rhinos), giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, cheetahs, and numerous bird species. Depending on the time of year, you may also see the Great Migration in the Serengeti.

A basic safari package usually includes transport (generally in a 4×4 vehicle), park entry fees, lodging (varying from luxury lodges to budget camps), meals, and a professional safari guide. Some packages may include extra activities such as cultural trips or balloon safaris.

The best time for a Tanzania safari tour is during the dry season, from June to October. This is when wildlife is more visible because of decreased vegetation and animals congregating around water sources. The rainy season (November to May) is also ideal for birding, with fewer visitors, but conditions may be wetter.
