Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport to meet the driver guide and go to Moshi which is approximately 35 minutes driving for an overnight stay.
Today you will meet your guides for briefing and climbing gear checking.
Elevation: 6000 ft to 8700 ft Distance: 6 km/4 miles Hiking Time: 2-2 hours Habitat: Montane Forest
After breakfast and briefing, drive to Lemosho Park Gate. From here a forest track requiring a 4WD vehicle leads to Lemosho Glades. Walk along forest trails and experience the nature of Mount Kilimanjaro where we will be eating lunch on the way. We will arrive at Mti Mkubwa (Big Tree) campsite for dinner and an overnight stay.

Elevation: 8700 ft to 12,500 ft Distance: 5 km/ 3 miles Hiking Time: 4-6 hours Habitat: Heath
After breakfast, we continue as the trail gradually steepens and enters the giant heather moorland zone. After several streams are crossed, we continue over the Shira Ridge past the Shira 1 camp and experience the stunning view of Kilimanjaro Mountain from the west side. We arrive for dinner and an overnight stay at Shira 2 camp on moorland meadows by a stream.

Elevation: 12,500ft to 13,000ft Distance: 7 km / 4 miles Hiking Time: 4-5 hours Habitat: Alpine Desert Lava Tower to Barranco Camp Habitat: Alpine Desert
From the Shira Plateau, we continue east along a ridge, past the intersection and heading for Kibo’s summit. As we proceed, our path shifts to the southeast, toward the “Shark’s Tooth” Lava Tower (elevation 4650m/15,250ft). Shortly after the tower, we arrive at the second intersection, which leads to the Arrow Glacier. We are currently heading down to the Barranco Camp. Although you conclude the day at almost the same height as when you started, this day is critical for acclimatization and will help your body prepare for summit day.

Elevation: 13,000 ft to 13,250 ft Distance: 5 km/miles Hiking Time: 3-4 hours Habitat: Alpine Desert.
After breakfast, we leave Barranco and continue on a steep ridge up the Barranco Wall. At the Barranco top, you will experience the stunning view of Mount Kilimanjaro where we will proceed to the Karanga Valley and the junction which connects with the Mweka Trail. Arrive at the camo for dinner and an overnight stay.

Elevation: 13,250 ft to 15,331 ft Distance: 4 km / 2 miles Hiking Time: 3-4 hours Habitat: Alpine Desert.
Today you will experience the sunrise at the camp with a breakfast, thereafter we depart the camp onward to Barafu Camp with our packed lunch. On our way, we will experience the scenic view of Kilimanjaro Mountain and arrive at the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.
Night: Barafu Camp
Elevation: 15,331 ft to 19,345 ft Distance: 5 km / 3 miles Hiking Time: 5-6 hours Habitat: the Arctic.
After a warm sleep, we awake around 00:00 hours get some snacks and tea, and get ready to summit. We push very slowly till we reach the highest peak in Africa.
Uhuru Peak to Mweka Camp Elevation: 19,341 ft to 10,065 ft – Distance: 12 km / 7 miles – Hiking Time: 4 hours – Habitat: Rain Forest.
After reaching the summit and celebrating for some minutes, we proceed down for a hot lunch at the camp and proceed till we reach the campsite for dinner and warm sleep.
Night: Mweka Camp
Elevation: 10,065 ft to 5,380 ft Distance: 10 km / 6 miles Hiking Time: 3-4 hours Habitat: Rain Forest
Today is the last day on the mountain. We descend till we reach the gate. We highly advise to use walking ticks and put on guitar that will help you when descending.
Arrive at the gate and collect certificates and we will meet the driver guide and go to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Today you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight.
