After breakfast, we will enter the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Explore diverse landscapes and encounter the rich biodiversity that makes the Ngorongoro a world-renowned safari destination.
Descend 610 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater floor. Famous for its outstanding wildlife viewing chances, the crater boasts a permanent water supply that supports a diverse ecosystem. As we descend, we may expect to see lions, zebras, wildebeests, elephants, gazelles, and more than 500 different bird species. The crater also provides one of the greatest opportunities to watch the endangered black rhino.
A packed lunch at a picnic site beside Hippo Lake. We will proceed to Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay.
Today, we are ending our 7-day migration plan by visiting Lake Manyara National Park.
The park is situated at the base of the Rift Valley Wall and offers diverse landscapes from acacia woodlands to groundwater forests and the alkaline Lake Manyara. It’s famed for its unique lions, large elephant herds, and abundant birdlife, including thousands of flamingos. The park provides excellent game-viewing opportunities and stunning scenery.
After lunch, we will go to Arusha and onward to the airport for your departure flight and end our 7-day migration plan.
