Terms And Conditions

To guarantee your travel, it is important to understand the payment terms and conditions when going on a Tanzania safari to see the spectacular animals and stunning scenery of this East African jewel

To ensure your journey goes smoothly.

  • When you book your safari, you will normally pay a deposit, followed by a final payment. Deposits are required to reserve your position and are frequently paid soon after booking.
  • The final payment is usually needed closer to your departure date. Read the fine print carefully, since return policies might differ.

Payment for Tanzania Safari, such as credit cards, bank transfers, and even cash, may be accepted. Transaction fees can affect the final amount, so keep these in mind.

Go over the terms and conditions properly before committing. They might talk about cancellation procedures and refund deadlines.

Understanding these ensures a successful and enjoyable Tanzania safari experience.

Booking Terms and Conditions

  1. All payments are in USD (United States Dollars)
  2. Payment should be made by Telegraphic Transfer to J.M. Tours account in Tanzania
  3. Foreign checks are not accepted
  4. Upon confirmation of availability, the client is required to pay a 50% deposit to secure the booking.
  5. The client should obtain insurance that will cover cancellation for any reason should the client be unable to travel.
  6. Safari is confirmed once the deposit is received
  7. If the deposit has been paid rest can be paid a month before arrival, USD or Tsh in cash on arrival, or by Credit card (For Credit cards 6% bank charge is added to the cost)

Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • Upon confirmation of availability, the client is required to pay a 50% deposit to secure the booking.
  • J.M. Tours Ltd will refund the money paid by the client and not spend deducting costs that occurred.
  • All hotels have different policies cancellations from 60 to 45 days before an intended stay will be charged, the amount will depend on how many days, no-shows, and cancellations between 0 to 15 days will be charged 100%.
  • Cancellation includes changing hotels because of plan deviations or delayed flights. Will be based on the terms and conditions of a booked hotel or airline.
  • Costs already paid to parks cannot be refunded.

Note: If canceled and are part of a group, the refund amount will be determined by J.M. Tours Ltd following our terms and conditions.

Note: J.M. Tours Ltd may adjust the refund amount depending on the terms and conditions of the hotels, as all hotels have their policies.

Travel Insurance

Participation in our safari trips is advisable on having travel insurance. Such insurance should cover emergency medical expenses for any personal injury, evacuation and repatriation, cancellation and curtailment, and other reasonable expenses.

Keep in mind that our vacation packages do not include insurance. We will assist you to the best of our ability, but we will not be held liable for any positive outcome of your insurance claim.
